While US senators grill BP over the ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, it has emerged that it was the US government itself - under George W. Bush - which allowed oil companies to leave out a safety device which would have prevented the explosion on 20 April. An American environmentalist tells us: "Our politicians are beholden to the oil companies".

If that's the case (which it is), then the blame goes to Obama for this fuckup. Like 240 said, he's been President 15 months now. More than enough time reverse this policy if it had been significant to him. It wasn't, so it stayed and now he should be forced to reap the repercussions of it.

i dont blame the $...

Almost EVERY company's employees gave more $ to obama than mccain.  They loved his change message just like employees of mcd or GE or any other company.

mccain/palin was senile/flake.  The country had obama fever.

So yes, every major company's employees will have given more to Obama.  I believe FOX employees actually gave more to obama as well. 

So while I cite obama for not changing the rules, I do'nt blame the campaign $.  Everyone outspent on him.  mccain sucked.
