I said a long time ago that he deserved a contract.  Companies need to really snatch this guy up

"panhandling"? No matter whether his business is booming or not...  why wouldnt he be looking for additional money? Would you refuse an additional 50-100K?

Because that is what all the Supp contracts are are paying out....  ::)

The B.S. never stops with you Chick...

Lets talk about most supplement "contracts" where the BBer in question gets a limited amount of free sups, and has to sling them to people on the side, and only gets paid for in store, or booth appearances.

Whats worse is they fork over the rights to many of their pictures to these shady Supp companies, and put a lock on how well they can market themselves from that point forward. If a reasonable offer came along during their tenure with the awful contract...well too damn bad!

Supp companies are extremely exploitative, and get away with it, because too many broke bbers are willing to do whatever it takes to "live the dream," and therefore fight for bread crumbs along with the rest of them.

That being said...your best bet is to be a photogenic person representing a underexposed race, or demographic.

I've personally put together many contracts for pro's...none of them were for supps only, or per appearance pay...lowest contract was for 40K.
In a business thats comprised of the have's and have nots, it works both ways, as one of the top competitors just signed a multi year deal for just under 400K/ yr. not including many other money making perks incorporated into the deal...

details will be out very soon.

a contract giving you free supps is better than no contract at all
