I had a couple of stalkers before one of them I met this girl on the internet. So to protect my self upfront I met her at restaurant, she was fat as hell nothing as she told me or her pics revealed. So I was nice talked her and shit even paid for dinner told her I would call her I didnt want to be a asshole fat people have feelings too. So I didnt call her in about 3 days she is blowing my phone up with nasty messages and stuff as to why I had not called. I never returned her calls so about 2 days later she is knocking on my door (apparently followed me me home after the dinner) I didnt give her my address. I didnt answer the door so she started blowing the car horn for like 15 min I called the cops. She later called and left more nasty messages I guess I shouldnt of been nice to her to begin with learnd my lesson. Stalking shit is not fun and Tape never talk to neighbors. I dont even know mine... 
Dude, that sucks. I agree, it all starts because you're just trying to be polite. It's scary dealing with a woman doing this shit because you know if things get physical and there's no witnesses then you're probably going to get arrested even though you're the victim. You did the right thing by not opening the door. That's the plan.
