isnt it funny how we as humans are so selfish, paranoid , and self-important...............we think everything that happens on earth has to do with us
we have been havign an OPPRESSING heatwave in the North East...........its been like 100 degrees adn humid here everyday.......i know for some places that is pretty common, but we are not used to it
anyway, i caught myself thinking before about how its been hot for too many days in a row, and how there is going to be a drought, and how social services are going to collapse, and how god must be punishing us
and im a pretty rational person, who really doesnt believe in god or conspiracy throries..........but i catch myself slipping sometimes
the point is, we as a culture have an incessant need to find a meaning, or cause, in everything, and make it ALL about us
we can be VERY irrational sometimes
