Correct, which is why the op's original premise was flawed.

Unless you have elite athletic skills, being over 6'3 is undesirable. 99% of women think a guy is  ideal if he is between 5'11 and 6'3. 6'3 and above is a bother. Things are not designed for people of that height.

I've never once been called/felt short at 6 foot.

Anyone who claims someone is "short if they are 6'0 to 6'3, is clearly trying to justify their eggagerated height.

a buddy of mine...he's 6'6 did say to me that he wished he were shorter cause really tall people rarely live to see 70...anyhow

5'5 is pretty short, you're going from one extreme to the other

when it comes to money i'd say it helps when everything else is equal, other than that i don't see how it is that much of an advantage being freakishly tall

Well I went to extremes because like I said because it's a subtle effect. Anyways if all things equal, but that's the thing height creates inequalities.  Parents will focus more attention on a child that is taller, so will women, and so will coaches. Even if it's something very slight it all builds eachother. Better chances on sports team means more chances to build better leadership skills.

Don't get me wrong intelligence and looks are big parts to, they all add up.
