Salt consumption will have no effect on fat loss imo.  Don't even give it another thought until you want to drop water.

For me salt is a friend on diet food.  I tend to eat a lot of veggies, beans, and lean meat when dieting.  Herbs and seasonings keep things tasty.  Gotta have a plan that you don't have to constantly grit your teeth to stick to.

"OMG THATS LIKE 5G OF SUGAR!!!"  ::)

Yes, fuck it.  A little ketchup with your eggs or steak is fine if it keeps you on schedule and away from McDonalds.  Homemade salsa is a good alternative to ketchup with the eggs too.

I find the biggest thing is to always have the day's meals planned and pre-prepared insofar as it's practical.  Otherwise I always end up with a craving & indulging.

NOBODY interested in losing fat needs to overly micro-manage their diet to the pt they worry about really small stuff .
1 table spoon of kethchup is valuable if it keeps you eating egg whites instead of pop tarts.
The BIG issue is to try and stick within a few % of you ideal number of daily carb, pro and fat grams.
Good luck and the sodium deal comes from those in the last few days before a show cutting water, nothing more.

No, but I did cut out any skim milk, the last week or so.
In my opinion, anytime you cut out a major food group for too long you start more problems then you fix.
If you get lean and ripped , that is what matters.
Adding or cutting food groups won't work some voodoo body fat magic.

Disturbia, since your doing more cardio a little bit will help so you don't get bad charley horses in the middle of the night, at least for me

With chicken, try a tad bit of mustard.

Salsa or hot sauce works wonders as well. Eating clean (meaning plain chicken, pork chops, steak etc) is boring. And the spices work wonders also

Great ideas!
You need some sodium and potassium to keep from cramping. Most tend to get way too much sodium and not enough potassium so the ions get out of balance and you cramp, or get bloated, etc
