If the Dems lose in 2008, what will the 2012 ticket be?
« on: September 19, 2008, 08:48:07 AM »
IMO, Obama will not return for another run.  If he can't beat and old man and a rookie teenybopper, he can't win ever.

Hilary won't be back either.  She'll be 65 years old, and age will catch up with her.  She pissed off too many party elders dragging Obama thru the mud for 2 months unnecessarily.

I think it'll be Evan Buyh - a Clinton protege who is everything Obama is, with a skin color more palatable to older voters who decided in 1958 that they didn't want Obama.

His running mate?  A military man - Wes Clark, or more likely, Jim Webb.

If they lose they should just retire the Democratic party to the bowels of history.

terminal---

Mccain was losing without Palin - Obama had a 100 point electoral lead.  palin is his beggest strength.

They're essentially tied electorally now.  Palin did that.

Attacking mccain would be pointless for obama - those ten million voters jumped to palin, not mccain.  So he's attacking Palin.  It is working.  Her approval rating dropped last week by 10 points.  And Mccain had a LEAD for a while, which he's since given up.

It's not about being 'scared' to attack mccain... they have nothing to gain with it.  They'll win - or lose - this election based upon women supporting palin right now.  If they can sour the women on palin, obama wins.

If Dems lose 2008...they should just move to Canada.

Dems have a horrible strategy like always.  Example:

Bush has a 20-something approval rating, so in typical Dem fashion they decide to run against Bush (instead of McCain for months) except Bush is not running for president, he can't.  It shows weakness at every level.

"Let's go after Palin" Dems say and do.  Again, you can't face the competition so you divert time and resources going after the VP.

That may have worked a lot better in mid-October but now it seems that Dems are scared to go after the actual presidential nominee that is McCain.

On top of all that, Obama chose a White man (that is almost criminal in todays warped society) as his running mate and most definitely lost a few million votes he would have had if he chose Hillary.  Again, dumb, dumb, dumb.

lol.  Yes, move.   :)  They have just done a lousy job with the top of their top for years.

I have no idea who they would run.  You know Hillary would be in the mix.

The last 8 years have been a picnic ::)   All the accomplishments that have been made....People are earning more unemployment checks than ever!  I think we should carve another face on Mt. Rushmore!!!

People can sleep at night, knowing that the right man will answer the phone in the middle of the night, but the problems is that he always holds the phone "upside down"!!!     MCcain & Palin...True Ford Mavericks!!! :'(

if they lose again, there will not be an election in 2012 because the country would have completely fallen apart by then. america will not survive another 4 years of republican rule

FAIL.

Gore is inspiring killers like the UnaBomber and the DiscoveryBomber.  He is not fit for office.
