Joe Miller To Supporters: 'A Recount Is Imminent'
« on: August 26, 2010, 05:29:40 PM »
Looking ahead... I wonder if snubbing Palin and mentioning Huck is his way of saying "I'm available as a VP selection in 2012 if you need credibility with the tea party, huck..."

Joe Miller is asking for cash with an ominous sounding fundraising email, warning his supporters that a "recount is imminent" in his Alaska Republican primary bid to unseat Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

The race won't be decided for weeks, and while Murkowski waits, her campaign brought in a lawyer who might be used to request a recount. Miller leads by 1,668 votes and TPM sources in Alaska expect him to prevail.

Miller exploits that fact in this email, asking supporters to donate and "don't wait until it's too late."

Also interesting to note, the Miller email mentions Mike Huckabee but not Sarah Palin. Both Republicans endorsed him over the incumbent.

If the republicans are dumb enough to nominate Huckabee I can tell you one republican who will not vote and thats me!!Im sick of the Bob Doles McCains and Huckabees. My bet is Huckabee will not win the nomination and someone like Mitch Daniels will emerge.
