Competing...is it worth it?

I have competed 2 times, with the last one being very disappointed.

i had a strict diet, cardio, drugs etc...i sacrificed social life and other important things to "live the dream", the prep to the show.

lost money.......and won nothing.

i came in looking like shit..to me.

So, i was wondering if its all worth it..yea i love bbing but competing too damn demanding and mindfucks you.

your asking something that is so relative and intrinsic and subjective..........ther e is no way another person could answer

because you asking a question about something that holds different value to different individuals........


its like when a person pays 250K for a JFK golfclub........and you say............"who the fuck would spend a quarter mil on a useless old golfclub".....

...its the value it holds to that individual




or when a father gives a kidney to his son.........you might say "that kid is a fucking asshole, who would give him  a kidney"........well, obviously you wouldnt..but to his father, the kid holds different value


....
the point is ., the answer anyone gives you in MEANINGLESS....it only matters if competing seems worth it to you, and by the way you worded you initial statment, it looks like you already have your answer

Ya know, it really is difficult to say. Perhaps there is no other sport where you put so much time and money in just to win a plastic trophy. However, if you don't mind the sacrifice of time and money, and just want to compete for the love of it, then keep on doing it. If you don't feel its worth it, then stop competing.

No it's not... assuming you're a 48yo 'man' with nothing to show for but wish you had .. then finally "do it" with saggy tits and lumpy abs (Hi Jim M.)

it's not about the "trophy" or about "men" rubbing one off at you in the back row.. or NPC judges with twisted minds licking then pencils while you do an ab shot and catch an upper look...

It's about getting home looking at yourself in the mirror and say "I fucking did it... I'm proud of myself"....





........................ ....................then   drop your manties and crack one off at yourself 'cause your look fucking hot in pro tan
