Here's my story - a true one. I was competing at that time in the 82.5 kg class (weightlifting) and was at a training weight of around 85kg. I got down to 82.5 for my weighing quite easily (just ate a little less the last few days, and lost a bit of water in the sauna before weighing, had a good shit, etc).
I weighed in at 82.45 kg, and after competing I went to a BBQ, and consumed between 6pm and midnight approximately 8 sausages and bread, 3 bowls of potato salad, 2 pieces of steak, a salad, 2 bowls of a kind of rice salad. I also drank approx 5 pitchers of beer. Then, at around 4 in the morning, a guy who works in a bakery turns up at the house with over extra 100 jam doughnuts. They were still warm, and delicious. I ate approximately 16-20 of them between then, and the morning. After a sleep, I drank 2 glasses of milk in the morning. Then had a brunch - coffee, bacon and eggs etc. Also a few glasses of water. In the afternoon I had a burger, and I then went back to the gym for a light workout, and weighed in at 87.9kg. Which was fine with me as I was moving up to a higher weight class anyhow
