Hey Un$ung, I agree that Bob has done better than most pros , many of whom that had better pro records.
Bob Chick found a niche for his look and talent.
Sadly , more pros just never get "that".

Oh, Vince B seems pretty happy and healthy these days.
I just figured the big bear and the old cougar fighting was a perfect analogy to their feud here at getbig.
I like how the bear gets on its legs to "out mass" the old snarling cougar hehe

I have had the pelasure of talking with Bob a few times at various expos and always enjoy it.
Great guy and ideal rep for bodybuilding.
Married a really nice cute lady , too.

Look at our last 3 elected  presidents,here is the USA : Clinton,  G W Bush and now Obama.
All three were very different in style and issue emphasis. BUT, they all knew how to make the right connections with people that could move them up the ladder.
I stayed as classroom teacher after 1 yr in admin. I don't like playing politics myself but respect those that can endure the game.

All I am saying is that Bob was popular with girls and when he attends those events he has to resist temptation. Women who marry guys who were ladies men always worry about what their husbands are doing when they are not home. Sometimes they insist they move away from those temptations. I have no idea if this applies to hapless Bob. He still is a handsome dude and we still see him posing with sheilas at contests and events. Naturally he is innocent of all charges.

Don't forget that celebrities are magnets to many women. They get excited about being with someone who is famous. That surely applies to bodybuilders because I have seen how Arnold had no trouble getting gals when he was in Hawaii and Australia. I saw him with two different young women on the same day in Honolulu in Jan 1969. I thought to myself that he had a blonde then a brunette! He had no trouble seducing my babysitter when we had a dinner for him after a seminar he gave at Vince's Gym in Sydney in 1974. I know he was with a Lorraine in Sydney during one visit. These are facts not rumour.

Obviously I am no close personal friend of Bob chick and only know the man from speaking with him at expos. BUT, I did meet his new wife and mother in law at the nationals expo here in ATL, right after they got married.
Bob seemed happy with her and into the married life situation. He is into his mid 40's now and  has matured in his lifestyle.
Bob is a handsome guy and woman like him, good for him. I don't think anyone should make comments about a guy and his wife's relationship unless he beats her , is abusive and gets arrested.

vince, I was married and divorced 3 x myself. Making a long term relationship work is tough and tricky business.
I wish Bob and his wife well and only hope they are happy.
I never had kids myself.
