Although he still kayfabes a lot of his responses, he is - quite uncharacteristically for that time - out of character quite a bit during this interview.

RIP Bruiser Brody. nother very controversial death. He was wrestling in Puerto Rico and was stabbed multiple times in the shower by another Puerto Rican performer. Brody was left to die in a pool of his own blood and no charges were made and no one testified in court for fear of their lives. Puerto Rican wrestlers & Mexican wrestlers are very jealous of American wrestlers and they don't want them coming in to their territories and "taking" their spot light so to speak.

Right now, i'm itching to by Hogan's biography. Supposedly he gets into the drug use, travel, politics, etc behind the curtain. I love hearing / reading about the juicy stuff.

Quite a few people praise Bruiser Brody, including Foley & Flair - maybe one of the few things they agree upon.

However, you may find it interesting that Brody could be a bit of an unprofessional and vindictive crybaby at times.

There are stories of him working for smaller territories back in the day.
There’s one in particular; in one town - for whatever reason(s), he was unhappy at the show - so he took a mop & bucket that had been used to clean up after a fan who’d gotten sick & vomited in the stands.
The asshole carries the saturated mop into the ring and begins swinging it around, flinging dirty water & puke all over the first few rows of people.
It is said that the smell was horrible and people began dry-heaving and getting sick themselves.

Brody could AND should have taken up his gripes with the promoter without spiting the fans & other wrestlers there.
By doing what he did, he ruined the business for everyone working in that territory - including the local lower-card guys who counted on that extra income to help pay their bills and feed their families.

Brody didn’t give a shit because he was gone at the end of the night and on his way to the next town.

It was more hearsay and the way they post things on the net. I never knew Brodie was a prick to begin with.

I'd always read that he was very difficult for promoters because he demanded what he considered a fair-cut, but that garbage of doing that to the fans....wow...I went to some shows as a kid that if he did that, there would have been 20 heavily armed rednecks waiting for him at the backdoor of the gym...

You maybe right. All I know is that the Puerto Rican wrestlers / promoter at the time and the cops all covered it up. It didn't even go to court.

Speaking of Brody, I saw an old classic the other night with him & Jerry Blackwell back in the old AWA.

I've mentioned this on here before, but thought I would again.  I was lucky enough to see Brody vs Adbullah in a cage in my high-school gym, which was very small.  They literally tore the cage apart and fought up into the bleachers with people scurrying everywhere.  Hell of a match and it was a charity type thing with around 500 in attendance.
