Both games are absolutely amazing. Word to the wise regarding the first one though, don't deviate from the side story to much. Stay with the main story line as much as possible, if you don't you may end up not enjoying the game at all. The second game is just flat out amazing through and through though with minimal BS and side stuff that isn't fun. Easily this series is one of the best I've ever played.

I don't really play games much anymore.  I did buy Starcraft 2 and enjoyed it for a couple weeks but didn't finish it.
