its all part of them trying to cut cost. look at the paper quality of m&f and flex. in the past few issues they have switched to using cheaper paper. now they are eleminating the rental/operational cost of the CA office. bottom line is, print magazines are an informal tool of yesterday and their value will continue to go down.

In the 1980's, during the Heavy Metal period, you can get those and many others like it at any local store.  Long hair, spandex pants, metal bracelets!  Bands like Quiet Riot, Def Lappard, Twisted Sister and many other glam rock bands and their fans loved them.  Don't hate - just try it for a day while singing 'We're not going to take it'. (which is a great song)
