Is freedom of speech under threat in Canada? Will criticism of Israel be tantamount to antisemitism? Will an unofficial, undemocratic and self-selected group of federal MPs ultimately enact changes to the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code of Canada, criminalizing criticism of the illegal activities of the state of Israel?

If the highly secretive Canadian Parliamentary Coalition to Combat Antisemitism has its way, it could become a reality.

Thanks for posting that Sampson. I hadn't heard anything about this at all.

I don't know what they are talking about. I haven't noticed any increase in anti-semitism this side of the border at all. I have noticed an increase in the criticism of Israel as a state, but not in terms of antisemitism, but rather in terms of their actions as a state. I don't consider it unusual in any way. Any time any state takes any action whatsoever, there are bound to be those who agree with these actions, as well as those disagree with these same actions.
