Since the last 4 republican presidents ran a deficit and the only time the economy was great was during a democrat, why do people all of a sudden think that a republican president can change the economy around?

I realize the OP is just a troll, but its mind boggling how many people actually think like his post when it's congress, as 33 pointed out, that handles budgetary matters.  While America fights over who is president, the scoundrels in congress and the senate are the ones raking us over the coals.

obama didnt cause the financial melt down, EITHER DID BUSH FOR THAT MATTER but obama is certainly stalling the recovery of our economy by passing legislation that injects more uncertainty into the business arena.

but judging from the simplicity of your original post I doubt you will understand anything I just said
