Scorers score.

And they force teams to game plan just for them. 

Best defensive strategy vs the Lakers the past several years has just been to let Kobe get his and to lock everyone else down.  Did Bruce Bowen do something no one else in the league could (slow down Kobe)?  Yes, but you're talking about a guy in Bowen who worked his ass off for almost 4 years after college to get through minor-league basketball and finally into the NBA when he was 26.  To say that n**** was hungry would be an understatement and that hunger still showed when he marked Kobe during San Antonio's run.

The problems team face now, though, is that Bynum might be fully healthy by late spring, and the Lakers have solid contributors like Barnes coming off the bench. 

Looking ahead to the playoffs, the Lakers' lone weakness is that Fisher is a liability on defense at the point.  Love D-Fish, but can't wait to see Derrick Rose in a Laker uniform alongside Kobe.
