I can't see that happening somehow. Haye is smarter than that and he'll do a Calzaghe and retire for good going out on top as soon as he beats one or both of the Klitschko's.

haha oh brother...

Hard to believe someone would give up big time boxing paydays to go to MMA and make thousands as opposed to millions...

Rampage and Bisping suck too. :D

He isn't gong to do mma, he fights about once a year and is avoiding the two best fighters in the division.

He is in it for cash, and mma has a lot less cash than boxing.

Any top boxer would kill in MMA if they only took a year or two to learn stuffing takedown's/sprawl's and checking kick's plus some ground basics, they already have the most sought after thing in fighting, amazing hands

James Toney made 500k just go get taken down and jabbed a little. Dana didn't even want this guy.

"-Randy Couture: $250,000 (no win bonus) def. James Toney: $500,000"

Why "ha ha oh brother" - a four/five years ago I don't think Haye would have stood a chance against the Klitschkos - now I'm not so sure - Haye is at the top of his game right now and the Klitschkos are past their prime, still good mind you, but Haye has got a great chance against either of them. I could easily see him winning.

Ok...I guess thats what we all love about fighting...the uncertainty...I think its a long shot that Haye would make it 12 rds against either Klitschko let alone win...but yea if he manages to duck them a while longer who knows maybe he can knock them out their wheelchair and claim a victory...

Haye likes to counter, he has no clue how to push the pace of a fight, hence his long periods of inactivity when the other guy isn't giving him anything to counter off of. He wouldn't engage Valuev who has no power whatsoever for fear of getting caught, i don't see him doing much.

He doesn't have the durability to take the punishment that someone like Brewster did and he isn't comfortable being a swarmer so is unlikely to try to speed blitz Wlad. It just isn't his style.
He has a punchers chance against Wlad. But Wlad has a great jab that will be hard to counter off of.

Against Vitali he should just hope that he gets old overnight. Vitali throws about a thousand punches a fight and can take Haye's power. Best he could do is what he did against Valuev and just run the whole night and not engage, Vitali has slowed down in recent years and all of the injuries are catching up to him. So Haye may be able to use the speed advantage if he is really disciplined.
