Dan Rather: Obama Likely to get Primary Opponent
« on: December 07, 2010, 07:11:36 PM »
Dan Rather speaks to the issue of Obama supporting an extension of Bush tax cuts for the millionaires/billionaires in this country on Jansing and Company, MSNBC:

'This is a political nightmare for Barack Obama as president. The more-left portion of his party hates this with a passion. And politically, within his own party, if this goes through, Barack Obama will be in a position to have his shirttail on fire, his back to the wall, and the bill collector at the door. Which is metaphorically a way of saying he’s almost guaranteed — if this goes through — to have a serious challenge in a Democratic primary for president in 2012.'

and further goes on

'The perception is that he won’t fight for anything. Many of the heavy contributors to the Democratic Party are beyond shock about this happening, and are saying to themselves, This guy has about four to six months to turn the perception of him and the party around or we’ve got to start thinking about somebody else in 2012.'

The left in this country are living in a bubble. This is the best thing yet that Barack Obama has done for his political future, though it might be too little too late. Its like Bill Clinton with welfare reform and the capital gains tax cut. What the left is doing is sick. Why does the left hate rich people so much? Why are they so offended that the "rich" are not getting theyre taxes raised? Why are they so offended that the government is not coming at them with guns and taking theyre money away? Why do they hate small businessmen? Why do they hate doctors? Why do they hate sales managers? Why do they want to take a gun to small businessmen and take thier money? This is a very sick disease.
