If this season's xfactor had been in the us, or even simply voted on by us viewers, cher would have won by a ludicrous margin.  I was shocked the first time I saw her go to elimination.

I really wonder who votes for these things... I'm guessing mostly old women.  Rebecca Ferguson... wtf... I can't believe that sort of performance still generates fandom amongst anyone under the age of forty.
