Well today I officially paid more for a gallon of gas than ever before. Funny thing is  I remember hearing from all the democrates back when gas got high last time that under a democratic administration that they would never let gas get this high because they are not in bed with oil companies. And all the Dem's did was attack the crap out of Bush, and that was all the liberal media wanted to ever talk about was Bush and the gas price. Well now prices are higher, and not a peep from the media. And it seems like the Dem's forgot about yet again another commitment when it comes to this.

It was actually cheaper in the summer than it is now. Great work from the far-left!  ::)

I am just curious as to where the out cry is from all the news channels . I mean they chastised Bush hourly on dam near every station. Why isn't Obama and his admin getting the same or worse? Bush wasn't the one promising everyone how under the repubs that gas would never be that high. The liberals were the ones making those claims on a daily basis. So they should really be getting chastised double bad.

When it passes $4 a gallon, the media will try to tell us its great for the economy so as to kneepad bama.

I just cant believe that there is such a unrecognizable double standard in this country when it comes to the msm and many libs.  And it just gets over looked !

This is not due to a 'double standard'. It's simply because the public is now psychologically conditioned to accept these prices. Under George 'the oil man' Bush, it was new & shocking and played well to theories of cronyism. By the time Obama took office, high fuel prices were the status quo.

In addition, a good part of the increase under Obama is due to the devaluation of the USD, so it takes more of them to buy a gallon of gas.

I'm pissed because right now the Cdn$ is trading higher than the US . I need it to fall within the week. Am expecting a US denominated cheque within the week, and I don't want to be crying at the bank.  :-\
