I got Kim too.....I'm not feeling all the hype for Minaj....she is "ok" but I don't see anything to warrant what she is made out to be.  Lil Kim would have your back in a fight too..... ;D

Minaj, changed up to look like she does, she didn't look like that when she first came out. Granted lil' Kim had all that plasitc surgery (she started right after she became friends with Pam Anderson), but she didn't do it to establish herself...and all this barbie bullshit, WTF,.

Lil Kim, Foxxy Brown have a similar flow, their delivery is like controlled skid on ice-smooth, slick, and makes you rewind that shit back.

Minaj, is drama-wanna rum, rum....

Do you remember MC Lyte?  Queen Latifah got all the pub, but I thought Lyte was far better.

I met MC Lyte in NJ when I was in the 7th grade.
For some reason, my school brought her to appear for some event.
She asked who liked rap, and was surprised that a white kid (me) raised his hand.
She asked me what my favorite rap album was (I believe thinking to somewhat embarrass me) and I answered something like this:  "I'm torn between "Paid in Full" and "Follow the Leader" by Eric B. & Rakim.  But right now, I'm really liking Big Daddy Kane's "Pimpin' Ain't Easy".  What's your favorite album?" 
She looked shocked for a few seconds.
I think I was wearing either a Rolling Stones t-shirt (Steel Wheels tour) or my favorite Jimi Hendrix shirt at the time.
