they're celebrating bachmann's rise over palin.  they're talking about MB crapping all over paul ryan, against party wishes.

Pat buchannan said Bachmann is the most exciting candidate in america not named sarah palin.

won't happen

the RNC abandoned her after her "anti-American" remarks in 2008 and she barely won re-election

The Repubs need to find a moderate in order to have any hope of winning

She might just TAKE the job.

Going up against the party on this speech is HUGE.   Palin never had the guts to do this - she told tea party members they had to choose either dem or republican.  She was a tool of the repub party.  And palin even got in on refusing to endorse bachmann last year.

I think MB might just take it!

On another note...
Bachmann is having a series of "constitution 101" classes all over the country :)

Another straw fail.  She won by ten points this past election.

Does anyone really watch MSNBC?  And isn't this the same program that was ridiculing Bachmann in November?

they ridicule palin too, and they thought she was the frontrunner.

it's been MB nonstop.  every night.  every show.  featured piece on her.

I said Repubs abandoned her (cut off funding) at the end of the 2008 election

she won won 46.41% to 43.43%

she is way too unstable to win a general election

If Obama doesn't get re-elected will 240 promise to stop posting on the political board?

'Unusual' Bachmann Rebuttal Could Scramble GOP Message on Obama Address
fox ^ | 1/25/11 | staff

It's bad enough that Rep. Paul Ryan has to follow President Obama. Now the brainy Wisconsin congressman tapped to give the official Republican response to the State of the Union address must also compete for attention with Tea Party star Michele Bachmann.

Bachmann, a third-term Minnesota congresswoman renowned for lobbing rhetorical bombs at her opponents, plans to rebut the president's address in an online broadcast at the Tea Party Express website Tuesday night.

While Ryan's remarks will be carried by all the networks and cable news outlets as they happen, television news outlets have agreed to share a camera to record Bachmann's comments -- and some could choose to air them live.

FOX seems upset with her over this. CNN is running her speech and FOX is not.

She should grab her BC and challenge Obama to release his.

es it will go over like a NUKE, but it will completely sway the discussion away from the SOTU to birthirism.     :P  :P

CNN is running her speech and FOX is not.

THAT is huge.  CNN enjoys the rift in the Repub party - it's newsworty and makes 2012 more exciting.  MSNBC loves it because it means Obama will certainly win in 2012 (if he runs against a bachmann AND a Romney).

FOX is scared that the TRUE maverick in the GOP field - bachmann - might just WIN OVER the tea party supporters.  FOX tried to annoint Palin the leader of the tea party.  True constitutionalists remember her lib positions in 2008.

And bachmann is confident, skilled, and maverick enough to give FOX the middle finger and appear on all the other networks.

I am inclined to agree. With Palin seemingly disinterested in running and her DISASTROUS speech in response to the Giffords shooting, it appears Bachmann is ready to assume her role. I love it!  ;D

My long-standing endorsement of a Palin/Bachmann ticket will need to be revised should Palin chicken out and not run. As long as I get ONE of these two American Patriots and complete dingbats I will be more than happy.  :) Bachmann is a TREMENDOUS fundraiser, and should she manage to win Iowa, should definitely win the lovely Palmetto State. So with her winning two out of the first three states, it will be on! Probably Bachmann, Romney and one other candidate (Huckabee? Daniels?) in a three-way race to the nomination.

Let the games begin! Hopefully some of these chickenshit repubes will throw their hats in the ring soon so we can get this thing started. Stop waiting for others to jump in first before you commit, ya cowards!  ::)
