IMO, she's the 3rd really powerful and confident woman we've seen in politics, in the last decade..... Hilary, palin, and now bachmann.

I don't know who else would be up there - the gillebrands, hutchinsons, etc are nowhere neat the star power/leadership potential.

She's taking the tea party lead by the horns.  Not annointing herself as part of a FOX-news driven astroturf movement to get republicans votes.  No, she was actually ostracized by Palin (no endorsement!!) and FOX for the last year. 

You put her onstage in the GOP debates, it could get really interesting!
