The problem with JJ's is that he trains them the same way he trains everything else. Way to heavy. Same with Ronnie. Because using massive amounts of drugs and heavy weight builds every muscle on the body except calves(for most people who don't have good calves). These guys don't really have the muscle mind connection with calves. So they load tons of weight and bounce up and down and call it a calve routine.

OK guru, how should people train calves then since u know so much? ::)

yep, he has the face of rec drug user as well. Possibly the smokes, combined with the AAS and not having the greatest facial structure tend to do it...oh, and being sooo damn pale...Casper wants his sheet back.

Dennis could try to think outside the concept of sets and reps.

after deconditioning the calf muscles, the mechanical load should progress each and every workout.

workout should be repeated a soon as protein synthesis is down to normal levels. higher frequency of workouts.

extend the time muscles are fully stretched while fully loaded, each and every workout. this time under tension,loaded and fully stretched , extending as long as needed,eventually reaching 30 minutes or more per workoutsession.

while fully stretched and loaded, contract isometrically.

he can chronically stimulate his calves by having electrodes implanted.

or have surgical remove his ankle flexor, inducing compensatory overload in remaining muscles soleus

Drop acid or 5 grams of mushrooms and try to figure out the muscle mind connection of the calve muscle. Don't let your mind wander. Focus!

I agree, as long as by 'tights' you meant thighs.  I've mentioned this in a few other threads.  Guys thighs are getting far too big for their lower legs.
