The sport of boxing is great what is shitty are the boxer nowdays compared to the past and the way boxing is run by the promoter!
Considering that this is the worst era for boxing it is  much better than mma anyway!

What is for you the most exicting thing during a mma fight?
Is when they are standig up punching or on the mat looking for a strangled holds ?
Chuck Liddel was exicting for mma fans because was a striker and Werdum is not exciting because is jujitsu master who want to fight on the mat.
People want to see ko and blood not 2 men on the floor wrestling.
Boxe is the exciting part of mma without the boring part of mma.
Moreover in boxing the 2 fighter have much better skill trading punches than any mma fighter.

Both.... And not just punches standing, but high kicks, devastating legkicks and some crazy elbows. And on the ground If they are activly looking for it (a sub that is) and punching and trying to pass. If you know what you're wtching its interesting. I know what Im watching. you dont.. thats why a normal boxing match often times are boring as hell to me, but for you its not..

And Mma standup is more exciting then boxing standup To me.... and pure boxers have better skills at punching? no shit sherlock lol. mma fighters has better skill at throwing kicks, td's, clinch games, knees, throwing elbows, wrestling, controlling, sweeping, choking, etc..

just because you Like boxing more, doesnt make boxing "Alot better" it means, you like boxing more.. I could say mma is alot better because this is fighting afterall  and a true no rules fight would win.. but I dont go around shouting BOXING SUCKS and MMA IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD do I? no? because its two different sports..

Why do boxing fans need to throw out that they HATE mma at every chance they got, why not just accept you like boxing more and some people like mma more.. 9/10 times it seems like boxers are the ones complaining.. why?

When I look at boxing I see samething exciting that I do not see in wrestling and jujitsu.
This is the reason why boxe is more popular than wrestling and jijitsu.
Now you have mma that is a hibrid form of combat sport were you have a little bit of everithing but nothing at the hightest level because would impossible like it is impossible for a decathlon athlete to be the best in each discipline.
You could call me a purist because I like the sport in the pure sense. To excel in boxe you cannot be as big a wrestler because to excel in wrestling you cannot be as slim as boxer. To be a mma fighter you have to be a little bit of everything but you can not be the best in anything.
