Every network wants the Law & Order, ER feel. They want the Matlock, Perry Mason, Magnum, PI feel. They try and package all the attorneys as slick, smart, many times attractive---when many times in the real world it's the opposite. Doctors---many doctors are overweight, smokers, and on the same drugs as they prescribe you. But, the shows---Docs have all the answers.
Cops, well I let that go.
But, every network now has the Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, Miami, NYC, depending on which city is more gritty or "sexy".
WTF, make a show on astronauts or cowboys, or Zorro or some shit.
