get this, just yesterday, my local news broadcast here in the midwest, for their morning news program had the "teaser" commercial before the next day show with the 2 anchors talked about what was coming up in the next show and closed this preview by standing in front of a blown up size photo of marilyn monroe and said " Kim kardashian, todays' marilyn monroe!",

ARE YOU FRICKING NOT REMOTELY FUNNY KIDDING ME! HOW THESE 2 COULD SAY THAT SHIT WITH A STRAIGHT FACE IS BEYOND ME!

 the only thing they have in common is both posed nude, THAT'S IT!

when oh when will they all just go away: the kims, paris, nicole's, housewives, reality 'stars", etcetera, etcetera!

forgot to mentioned i used to work with this young woman 21 whose idol is loser KIM!

i told her there is nothing wrong inherently ( i had to explain to her what that word meant by the way!) in having someone to idolize and/or strive to be like and improve oneself but i think she has the bar too far down and in fact, her bar is on the ground in regard to someone like that talentless thing as her idol!

scary thing is? she's "book smart" and studying to be a psychologist! society ( or at least her patients) are doomed! hopefully this is a passing phase in her mind!
