As a kid I wasn't allowed to have pets---still didn't keep me from keeping box turtles, garter snakes, ringneck snakes, earth snakes, black snakes, snapping turtles, sliders, frogs of various sorts, dusky and spotted salamanders, and baby birds. Thanks to me, there is a population of Am. Toads in my parents back yard.

As man (a black man), herps (snakes, frogs, lizards) are known to keep the punani away.

Over the years brother and I had Moorish geckos, a Chilean Rose tarantula, a garter snake, a corn snake and European and North American tree frogs. My mum used to go mental over the escaped crickets that set up home under the fridge and spent all night chirpping.

You are right about herps being vagina repellent, my missus refuses to allow anything scaly in the house.
