Flex Pro - Evan Centopani vs. Dexter Jackson

Waiting to peak for another show has to be the worst idea ever. Even just psychologically, how do you think Evan is feeling now vs Dexter?

i love evan but dexter just has a better physique plain and simple, at least right now. evan needs to work on lat width especially from the front. also need better arms in the fron double bi, and a little more thickness in his quads and hams. of course, his chest is lacking a bit too. but thats a combo of overpowering delts and a bit of underdevelopment in the pecs.

a top 10 bodybuilder in the planet, no doubt about that. bu theres about 5 guys who are clearly better at the moment. jay, phil, victor, dexter, kai, maybe branch, maybe wolf

dex here is clearly not close to his best but i still have him clearly better than evan!!.. even is in a better condition but dex is a better over all bb by nature,.. better symmetry, proportion, shape.. etc..

Well, I think Dexter has much better flow, symmetry and porportions than Evan, but Evan has him clearly on size and was just as hard and dry as well. I think it was judged right, but I wouldnt be surprised if Dex was the winner, because he looked damn good!

Dexter was very soft from the rear end of story.

Perhaps a bit of an overstatement.  How about softer than usual.  He still should have had straight firsts in the symetry round.

the judges have no idea how to judge for flow and aesthetics...so they base it purely and simply on size and condition.

so when they have that as the criteria then evan's size and conditioning beat dex more times than dex beats Evan..Dex wins from front, evan from back.

IF they ever added some weight to the final part of the puzzle- how it all looks, then dex wouldve won it .

but theres a reason why BB is in the dark ages..its run by morons- for morons. So itll never change for the right reasons.

At the Flex Pro, the judging was spot on - Evan, Dexter, Fouad and Dennis - awesome.

But yes, I do think that Dexter is gunning for the Arnold, and will beat Evan there.

Exactly and if you think about it, its a smart business move on Dexter's part to compete.  He has to be there anyway to rep Muscletech (Six Star..whatever).  Why not collect 7k for about an 1 hour of standing onstage.  Not only that, he's getting a great warmup for the Arnold.


Bodybuilders need to start doing these smaller shows, especially those that are not on that top tier, its a great way to get noticed by the judges and the more they see you, the better

primarily inner quads, wolf and pukalski both had better sweep too. evan has massive delts and you need big quads or else youll look top heavy with delts like that. if you watch evans videos on md leading up to the show he says he needs to work on three areas=  chest back and legs.

No one seems to be given him his due on guns, his Tri's specifically are up there with Coleman, until you see him in person you can't properly respond.

ive seen his videos on md and his ris are indeed massive as fuck. id say some of the best triceps in the sport, maybe second to phil.
