Ronnie's nuthgguers will find this impressive. Sure, considering the mass he's carrying the proportions and symmetry are amazing but he's conditioning is already suffering there. That's supposed to be contest shape after all.

Major imbalances...
Seems like when he took over, Bodybuilding took an even sharper nose dive (insulin, pros being rewarded coming in out of shape, thongs up the ass, shitty posing).... Like the only thing Ronnie could do was come in bigger than everyone. Couldnt pose, major balance issues, only came in shape 2 or 3 times... ass visible from the front, water balloon looking musculature, funky abs, no calves. etc.
Ronnie made it acceptable to walk on stage with NO polish, just be bigger than everyone, and still win.

BUT.. he was the freak of all freaks, biggest bodybuilder to ever walk on stage w/ ok conditioning, best package ever as far as muscularity is concerned. But the more I learn, the more I get a kind of just.. eh.. everytime I see one of his vids.
Hell go down in history as the GOAT, and he should, its just one of those cases where he was so impressive in the begining, and the more I learn, the more I realize he wasnt as great as I thought. :-\

What's the problem .... If you made a stand alone comment said Dorian was the greatest ever I would have nothing to say even though I don't thin he is even in the top 10 greatest ever

Greatest ever hands down no one ever close no one has surpassed him and I don't think that will happen for a loooong time

Coleman looks ridiculous there. Beyond belief. Yates is an all time great, looks thick as fuck, but Coleman just has more "wow" factor.

he was softer that year and 99 began his downward spiral of getting heavier while getting softer , still good enough to win but not the best he could have been

RONNIE COLEMAN : ( 264lbs As big as a house , but holding water. In '98 , he was shredded and bone dry at 250 pounds. Last year ( 1999 ) he was 257 pounds but NOT as sharp as '98. This year ( 2000 ) at 264 pounds , he's not as sharp as 99 , which would seem to say that Ronnie is better at a lighter weight .
