True...they were going like that for the tunnels, due to the Ferrari's well known "engine and exhaust acoustics"...some people purposely rev to redline in lower gears in tunnels just to hear the exhaust note.

Parker knows what I'm talking about when it comes to cars, I pretty much work on them everyday, seen everything in person from 3.0 CSL's,  SLS, veyron ss, to e30 m3's with e60 M5 v10 swaps.

You know, I understand the fun idea behind this, and that it goes like stink...but having that heavy ass V10 up front ruins the "50/50" balance that BMW claims is their hallmark and makes the car noseheavy...Then the rear tires are not as wide as the M5's...because for a E30 M3 to have tires that wide, there would be a lot of flare for the wheel wells...I would think that having turbo'd M12 engine that was used in the BMW 320 racecars---woul be lighter...
