MMAth again. What has this got to do with anything? Styles make fights. Fighter "A" who can't beat fighter "B" is able to beat fighter "C" who beat fighter "B". This happens all the time, dude. Machida got owned by Shogun and Rampage, but this doesen't mean he will get owned by Jones. Remember that when Machida lost to Shogun, he was coming from a 14 fight winning streak just like Jones.

Machida is not a big fan of being hit.....JJ is going to hit him, a lot.

Jones will steamroll Machida - it won't even be close.

Jones is definetly the future of the 205 division, I'm a little surprised because I thought it was going to take him another 4-6 months to come up fully and make a run for the belt, but WOW he just steamrolled his last 3 opponents, he disfigured Hammill's face and destroyed Rua. He is too dynamic and unorthodox for most 205 guys, the most dangerous opponents are the unpredictable ones.

Yes, all the mental energy you will spend trying to understand things that are beyond your intelligence will raise the temperature in your brain and kill your brain cells by the millions. :)

He is also too big for his opponents. He will hold the belt for a long time, with relative ease.

Will anybody beat Jon Jones?

NO.

Jones is just too big, too fast, and too talented for the rest of the Light Heavyweights.

But Phil Davis (below) does have the wrestling background, and the size (79 inch reach) and speed to make it somewhat interesting, but that is it.
He fights Antônio Rogério Nogueira on March 26th.

I think so as well, guy is 6"4 and athletic as hell, he moves like he's 185 and has very unorthodox striking

those flying elbows come out of nowhere, he's good on the ground (look at what he did to Hammill)

and has a 10" reach advantage over most of the guys at 205.

Yep, with those stats combined with his stellar skill makes him pretty well untouchable at LHW. There is no challenge for him in that division. He can stand halfway across the octagon landing strikes while his helpless opponent suffers a humiliating beat down while Jones just laughs with amusement. Just like the long black dude from streetfighter, just a bitch to fight. He wouldn't have that huge advantage at HW however. The lanky black men that nobody can get within 10 feet of will take over the sport in time. We've now got 2 of them as champs now..

To your credit, you were the first person on here that I recall saying Jones would be world champ before years end.
