What was it that terrorist-front group CAIR and other Islamic supremacist groups were saying about how it was utterly fanciful that Sharia would ever be used to judge cases in American courts?

Judge should be impeached immediately if this is allowed.

Well this is arbitration, and not a matter of US laws as far as I can tell, still seems like one of those give an inch they take a mile things.

Judge orders use of Islamic law in Tampa lawsuit over mosque leadership
St. Petersburg Times ^ | 3/22/11 | William R. Levesque

TAMPA — The question of what law applies in any Florida courtroom usually comes down to two choices: federal or state.

But Hillsborough Circuit Judge Richard Nielsen is being attacked by conservative bloggers after he ruled in a lawsuit March 3 that, to resolve one crucial issue in the case, he will consult a different source.

"This case," the judge wrote, "will proceed under Ecclesiastical Islamic Law."

Nielsen said he will decide in a lawsuit against a local mosque, the Islamic Education Center of Tampa, whether the parties in the litigation properly followed the teachings of the Koran in obtaining an arbitration decision from an Islamic scholar.

Before I say anything, I'm totally against this garbage of a religion and absolutely against Sharia Law.

I'm going to ask questions now lol:

Is this a criminal case or a civil case?  If this is a civil case is it a case where both parties agreed to enter into a judgement by Sharia Law where said judgement does not conflict with the laws of the land(American law)?  If so, the same shit has been in place for other religious law before this, mostly practiced by and afforded to Judaism here.

If otherwise, please say so...
