WASHINGTON (AP) - Unilever has announced a limited recall of Skippy Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter Spread and Skippy Reduced Fat Super Chunk Peanut Butter Spread because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy people often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with salmonella can result in more severe illnesses such as arterial infections, endocarditis and arthritis.

They only mentioned those two labels?
I wonder how/why it was contained to them.

I eat Skippy Natural a lot.

I suppose the mfg plant they are made  ???  Maybe the other lines are made elsewhere.

What are the ingredients on the Natural?  My favorite in terms of flavor is Holsum (natural - with the oil on top).  All the others have an off taste to me  ???  Smuckers is the worst  :-X  Tastes like burnt peanuts were used.

Yeah, it has the same texture as, and tastes just like "regular" peanut butter.

Maybe "Natural" means it's made by people who aren't on gear.
