Kids got plenty of videos on his channel. All fake plates? I wouldn't think so.

If legit, this is one of the most impressive lifts I seen in awhile. He's has that middle American, corn fed, retard strong thing going on. The grip strength at that age alone is amazing.

Yep I use straps on anything over 400, which I barely go over at the best of times...lol. Crazy fucking grip strength on that kid.

I can't tell what's up with those odd colored plates, but if it is 800, as menetioned his grip strength is crazy. I've never seen anyone pull over 700 without a reverse grip.  I think it's 790- 8 x 45's per side, a 10 and a 2.5.

He uses the hook grip, thumb under the fingers. It's stronger than a mixed grip but not many use it because it may be painfull on the thumbs.

Good call. Almost all Olympic lifters have used a hook grip for decades. It takes years to get comfortable using this grip, it is very unnatural at first and puts tremendous pressure on your thumbs.

Those aren't fake plates - that is a legit 800 pull.

You can tell by the way the bar bends - if the plates were half that amount the bar wouldn't bend in the way it did - an Olympic bar can support 1200lbs although the length of the bar stops this from being the case.

Damn impressive lifting.
