Ed Shultz has always been a mental midget but this video just puts his ignorance of history, politics, reality and everything else on display for all too see. He had his ass handed to him in that clip. He was really pushing the boundaries of what mental gymnastics is. And of course, when he was clearly outmatched, Ed started to yell "BUSH TALK" and then yell some more. Par for the course I suppose.
--"Freedom Fighters" - How does Ed know what those "Rebels" on the ground in Libya are, what they stand for, what they want? Are there radical elements lying in wait?
Answer: He doesn't know shit and he proved it in this video of him running cover for Obama.
--"A Willing Coalition" - Uh, Germany backed the fuck out. So did Turkey and the Arab League only approved a No-Fly Zone. This "Coalition" didn't know what the fuck was going on, who was in charge, what the aims are, what the ultimate goal is. This operation has been a chicken with it's head cut off.
"It has UN approval!" -- Oh geeeze.....
When his guest J. Scahill starts to talk about Yemen and Bahrain (he didn't mention Syria but whatever) Ed runs for cover and says it isn't the same thing and the Col. has "blood on his hands"... and starts blathering on. Embarrassing.
