Military families only get half paycheck today, congressmen get theirs though

Well, because the gov't couldn't contain their greed to continue spending and almost shut down the government, many military families only got paid half of their paycheck today.  I feel sorry to the private that has two kids and lives paycheck to paycheck.  Thanks Obama, for not pushing congress to pass a budget.

Pretty much.  Most guys that stay in are doing in for the money at this point since there has been so many pay raises since 9/11.  Plus the ecomony is so bad right now for jobs that getting out is not an option if you have a family to support.

We got a full paycheck. I got paid half yesterday and the rest today about 10AM. I'm not sure what your talking about. They told us our checks would be split and we'd get paid the full amount in two direct deposits..shockingly thats what happened.

I don't know man, I'm sitting at half a paycheck still right now and all the guys in my unit are the same way so I guess it depends where you'e at.  I know we'll end up getting it all in backpay but still, the principle of the thing.

Yeah, so many gimmicks I got them confused.  O13 made that claim.  Freeborn smacks of Mons/Cohibia/Neuro/Prognost/whork25 though.

As to the thread, DFAS announced split disbursements may happen.  Something to do with how long it took them to take the vote and get the legislation passed.  Haven't heard of anybody not getting their full pay though.
