I'm guessing Lex is old school, which can be good in a lot of ways. Old school did pave the way for modern BB'ing. But his post about Creatine  is misleading at best (#1..not a steroid). Also guessing that Lex is an older gentlemen. Recent testing suggest (no, don't have any grant studies at hand to refer to) is that Creatine has  given benefits to older men and women, exercising or not. Keeping the strength and muscle mass up to reasonable levels, as strength and muscle mass is lost as we all age. Cycling Creatine, and drinking more water than usual ,seems to work well for the elderly.

Creatine helps athletes in performance with stamina (endurance & strength) increases. Most GB'ers know the advantage of using Creatine Monohydate (other types of Creatine, though less affective) for a boost in all around gains. Only draw back might be that with steady use, the body tends to hold water, giving some BB'ers a puffy or soft look. Cycling Creatine can be an important factor in it's use.

Sooner, rather than later, the government will put a ban on Creatine. They are still talking about wanting to ban all vitamins and aspirin. Aspirin is the cheapest wonder drug on the market right now and all us common folk can get it any time we want.

Could you please expand upon this? Or maybe you have a good link regarding it?

The only think creatine does to you is to give you diarrhea!
I remember way back when creatine was just introduced. I loaded up and my best bench went from 1x300lbs to 5x300lbs in a few weeks. Could have been suggestion?
