Keto diet is an inferior diet for bodybuilding purpose compared to a diet with High Protein, Moderate Carb and Low fat!
Yes Keto Diet can get you lean but will leave you flat most of the time and will not give you much energy to sustain hard workout leading to the show!
Keto diet is just like High Intensity Training inferior to Volume Training for bodybuilding purpose!
Both of them (Keto Diet and High Intensity Training) work only on few bodybuilders!
Much better to stay with a diet High Protein,Moderate Carbs and Low Fat and High Volume Training!
At the end of the day what really make you lean is
caloric deficit and is better to do it with a healty diet with all 3 macronutrients (protein, carbs,fat).
Just make sure that your Moderate Carbs are low glicemic and rich in fiber;that your High Protein come from lean cut of meat,fish and egg whites;that your Low Fat come from Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the natural occuring fat from fish!
