Anytime you see FDR as number one over Lincoln and Washington you pretty much can guess where these people stand on issues.

Of course it is ..cuz you know all those guys must be democrats...right?  ::) Give me a fuckin break dude and get real while you're at it. And don't spin it that Obama this Obama that, the point is that presidential scholars came up with some rankings based on some real info( I'm sure this doesn't have ANYTHING to do with how they vote or whom they like personally) and you're trying to discredit it based on your PERSONAL preference. Case closed. :-\

Any list that does not have GW at the top is a complete farce.

These must also be the same dolts who nominated Obama for the Nobel Prize.

How transparent and ridiculous is this?

Obama at 15th?  These scholars must have smoked peyote before voting.

238 presidential scholars: Bush worst president of modern era, fifth worst in US history

It's one thing for a coterie of liberals at a late-night Washington soirée to say that George W. Bush was the worst president in their lifetimes.

It's another thing when the same is said by the nation's 238 leading presidential scholars, who have been polled annually for the last 28 years.

President Bush ranked worst among modern presidents -- and the fifth worth in history, according to the poll by the Siena Research Institute. Ranking first? President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who led the country from 1933 until his death in 1945.

President Roosevelt served four terms, the longest of any president in history. US presidents became limited to two terms after US states ratified the 22nd Amendment to the US constitution in 1951.

President Barack Obama, who hasn't yet served a full term, rated 15th.

I wonder if these presidential scholars still believe Obama is the 15th best president in U.S. history?

I did, and don't regret my vote at all.  Gore and Kerry were not better choices.

Will be interesting to see how many "idiots" vote for Obama twice.

Bush was ok for most of his term.   The last two years were disastrous.  He mailed it in completely.

The are going to shoot themselves in the foot in the next election if they continue to try an kill medicare, or excuse me, fade out.

Despite what they are telling the public to the contrary, killing Medicare is what they really intend to do and once that old people realize that, look out.

Regardless of what you might believe about the financial tenability of the Medicare program, one thing is certain; old people vote and they are going to vote to keep their welfare.  By the way it is a welfare program, even though old folks don't like to look at it that way.  Whatever they pay or have paid in taxes does not even come close to covering the benefits they receive.
