I think in the 90's it was a requirement to pose for FLEX magazine, I think this was sort of an unwritten rule set by one of the photographers or editor's, don't bother showing up to the photoshoot if you don't have your daisy dukes on, hahaha

That and the lumberjack combo with cut off flannel shirt and construction boots
