Bodybuilders in 3rd world countries
« on: August 02, 2011, 11:52:05 AM »
Bodybuilders and people in general in 3rd world countries have it real tough and I feel bad for them. Except for Mexico, they are very lucky they can just run or swim across the border and enjoy the good old US of A

Almost any country is a better place to life than Mexico, EVEN the U.S.

Mexico and Turkey are the only countries with more inherent corruption per dollar than the U.S.

In third world countries you can buy anything straight from the pharma, but you have limited options. Also for most of them gh is VERY hard to get, either you can't afford it or you can't buy it from china or whatever country sells "cheap gh" because it would prolly get stuck on customs.

Yeah, it's a corrupt world out there.  But this is based on a curve, so countries with barely any money are judged appropriately against countries with a lot of money.

It's funny how these third world places, and most of world, shit, don't play games with the "control" of stuff like gear and other drugs.  From what I understand, most or all drugs are effectively legal in personal quantities almost everywhere except the U.S.  These other places respect their adult citizens' ability to decide upon these personal choices for themselves.

Actually that's not the case, they just don't care about gear. It's a cultural thing, most people in TWC don't care about being big or having a good physique, and you never hear about gear use at local sports so the law doesn't care about hormones. Oh, and supposedly you need a prescription but nobody cares about it.

I hear you.  Plus, in America, it's a great "silent" money funneling scheme to have illegal drugs to sell.  Not to mention the great seizures the DEA and local cops get to make when they catch someone with gear and/or other contraband.  These tactics work best in a place where people have money to spend on drugs.  It's just nice to pretend that these other countries have their laws this way out of respect for the citizens, lol

But whatever, I just want to see the ridiculous drug laws ended.  It's like the Onion once headlined: "In the War on Drugs: Drugs are declared the Winner!"

"Dont feel bad for them buddy, Youll b amazed but in latin America bodybuilding (amateur) has more respect for their own athletes" than USA, for example a local show will give something to every contestan, they'll give you stuff like free memberships plus you dont have to PAY TO COMPETE you are allowed one person backstage and even some free tickets for family and friends a year of supps, newspaper, radio and tv.coverage, VIP treatment in cool places, radio interviews, invitations to sports, political and other events....  in USA last time I check only the top 5 finishers will get a plastic sword,a crystal bowl or a lowsy trophy...correct me if i'm wrong.
