it's called nostalgia; a need to re-live good times of your childhood cause you have no recent memory of such a good time lately as an adult. It often leads to bad, stupid, immature ideas like..acquiring a pinball...until you figure that's just retarded and wonder why there's a pinball in your living room.
Grow up and deal with it. Maybe you should focus on something more important in life, instead of wanting to go back into childhood. I guess there are things that scare you and you dont want to face at the moment, hence the need to reassure yourself. But we all have to mature.
First, no one posting on a bodybuilding board has the credibility to tell someone else to “focus on something more important in life.” Looking at men in thongs is not exactly a respectable or productive hobby.
Second, having a pinball machine in your basement, rec room, or garage can be a great way to bring back some childhood fun and create new memories with your own kids, many of who (and their friends) may be unfamiliar with pinball machines.
A few years ago, I thought about buying a Ms PacMan/Galaga Tabletop combo machine, but it was only two games in one machine. If I could buy such a machine that was a combination of ALL the machines I used to play as a kid, I would definitely buy it. Since such a machine was not available, I settled for MAME on my computer which gives me ALL the games I used to play including all the original screens, sounds, levels, etc. And all MAME cost me was a 10 second download.
