At the weekends if im heading out or meeting women/dates etc ill give it a 10, but general everyday going to work( physical job, not office stuff ) then i really dont pay much attention to how i look

If not I don't care at all....Baseball cap, T-shirt and shorts are my attire 80% of the time. granted they are clean, and name brand  ;D

I'm a solid 8 and it's gone down as I age. My 5 yr old daughter picked up on the habit of hitting a fdb or mm in the mirror from me,, so my vainess is crossing generations ;D

Between 8-10. I don't leave the house without taking a shower and being properly cleaned up. I spend a lot of time in the mirror. It can be a curse.

Which way does the scale move?  1 = "love my reflection" and 10 = "don't own a mirror"

Let me put it this way, each day I stand in front of the mirror, look at myself and say, "I can't wait until tomorrow!!" 

Why? 

Cause I get better lookin everyday.

lol exactly. if the scale is for everybody which the OP seems to mean, that would mean a "5" is average vanity across the world... and here on "getbig"  we have posters throwing out "2's"? ;D 

And remember vanity can also be what you say. like if somebody brags about lifting a certain weight or his job, it can be vain.

This is true. I am very vain I guess but much more so when going out.

I'd guess I'm a 7 all things considered. More than average joe.
