Do you understand, how this bill has stagnated the economy and eventually end up bending the middle class over?
LOL I agree with you for the most part but I dont want a single payer system.
Again its not the govt responsibility to coddle and hold the hands of certain groups. They are there to provide an equal playing field, not compensate for ppls short comings. If ppl arent getting what the perceive as a fair compensation, then why dont they go work for a company thats giving them a fair wage?
if you cant find any companies to give you what you think is a fair wage then the problem is you and your skill set.
ppl deserved to get paid what they are worth, and if they are only worth 7 bucks an hour then thats what they should get paid.
character and effort are in short supply these days bro, nobody wants to work for things they just want it to be handed to them.
You see, the problem is that ppl think that hard work is all thats needed but its not. It does go a long way but you also need to work smart.
I think baseball blows, football for the win...you seem like a cool dude though. you should really pop into the politics board bro, dont worry about the name calling and what not. Everyone there has a decent amount of respect for each other despite of the outward appereance.
In my opinion you are getting bogged down in the weeds on these issues. Politics is a game of compromise, not pure idology. BOTH sides are bought out to a degree. BUT if you follow the $$$ you can see clearly that the dems pass more laws to protect the midddle class working man and try to give him cheaper health care.
The republicans have some good ideas of some thngs but end up cutting out stuff like the EPA and regulations that prevent us working slobs from getting a fair shake from the banks.
Ask yourself these basic questions then vote.
Which side is MORE likely to protect worker rights and bennefits?
