No I wouldn't call them fans because fans follow the sport and schmoes don't really.  There's some really weird schmoes out there.

No my idea of a schmoe is those guys who want females with muscle to wrestle them and who only want to know how big your arm is etc.  That is a schome from a females point of view.  They can't see anything past the muscles.
