I don't understand why everyone gets mad at Mexican-Americans when they clearly show allegiance to Mexico over the United State (it makes me mad).

When Israeli-Americans do it though, no one seems to mind.

They are not going to be recognized because the US and Israel simply will not allow it.  The Israeli Lobby and their lunatic but perhaps equally powerful Evangelical backers have a stranglehold on American politics when it comes to foreign policy in the Middle East region.  This lobby is one of the very few entities that far-Left Democrats and far-Right Republicans will both bow and scrape to, attending exclusive and expensive galas on behalf of AIPAC.  This relationship is just one of the big reasons why there can never truly be peace in the region. Any US politician that does not show exceptional favoritism to any stance proposed by Israel faces political career suicide.

On the other hand, lobbing rockets into Israel on a daily basis does not help in the creation of statehood, either.  Nor does the rest of the Middle Eastern nations that use the Palestinians as a political chess piece to keep so-called human rights violations pressure on Israel........when those very same Palestinians are treated as the lowest form of life in their own countries.  Why doesn't Jordan just partition a piece of its land to donate to the cause since that is where most Palestinians live?  They won't, as their hatred and loathing of Jews and Israel overrides any real desire to help their own people.

There have been proposals for a one-state "super" state before, but that would mean a new Palestinian super-majority.  I'm sure the Jews(and Christians and Atheists) living in Israel with a Palestinian majority would be treated nicely and fairly  ::)
