Esquire's, 75 Books Every Man Should Read
« on: September 25, 2011, 07:51:27 AM »
I can proudly say that I've read none of the 75 books listed.  How many of you guys have read these books?   And how can anyone come up with a list of books that every man should read?

Haven't read any of them either.  :-\

Can't believe War and Peace is in that list - call me uncultured but I can't think of anything more mind-numbing to try and read.

Read most of them. Some solid, perennial choices with some 'macho,' posturing ones thrown in - a pretty good list. Could be worse.

Are there any decent book clubs that will send you a new book every month?

I like reading, but hate going and picking shit out.

I thought everyone had to read Grapes of Wrath in High School.

Another book that should be on this list is "Discovering the Mind of a Woman" by Ken Nair.

No, the pages are not blank  >:(
