The Hill: Perry Campaign imploding, Paul in 2nd place
« on: September 26, 2011, 11:59:31 AM »
Writing for The Hill, Capitol Hill’s most widely circulated newspaper, Brent Budowsky sounds the death knell for Rick Perry’s campaign.

“I wrote in August that Rick Perry will self- destruct within 30 days. His prospects for the presidency were as phony as the fantasy of a two-person race was false. Perry is a phony conservative who is not conservative. He is a pay-for-play politician who gobbled up Obama stimulus like a hound dog eating a bone, and created oceans of new government jobs in Texas while his big donors mysteriously received big government contracts. The Texas deficit ballooned and the Texas jobless rate doubled on Rick Perry’s watch,” writes Budowsky.

“I will not speculate about the reasons for Rick Perry’ s strange, weird and incoherent debate performance. Major new negative stories about Perry will soon emerge in the media. Trust me. Perry will drop out long before the year ends. If he dropped out today Ron Paul could well be in second place. Will pundits say it is a two-man race between Romney and Paul?”

The media's blacklisting of Ron Paul is so obvious now that it is actually helping him gain popularity.

The Republican Party in Florida Hates Ron Paul

From a participant in the Florida Straw Poll:

In order to vote in that thing, you had to pay a bribe of $175 to the war party of Florida. I did it but I feel like a sucker now because that money could have gone to the Ron Paul campaign but instead will be spent to fight Ron Paul.  Disgusting War Mongers totally manipulated the situation from a lose/lose to a win/win for them. I’m sick to my stomach now that I see what they did.

I am what you would call an infiltrator (— of the — County Republican Party) and they told me months ago that they were hoping the high price would “keep the Ron Paul crowd out.”

Dean Cannon, speaker of the Florida House, wore a Rick Perry sticker on stage and told people that he was “Florida’s Candidate.”

You hit the nail on the head about the cancer thing. I was sitting next to a lady that said that since he had beaten cancer he could beat Obama. I laughed so hard that the Sprite I was drinking shot out of my nose.

Perry needs to say "I have forest fires to deal with" and go away.

Right now my tops are Cain and Paul.  Bachmann is done.

I like Ron Paul - but we need an executive leader who will LEAD and manage stuff.   Ron Pauls' rambling and lack of focus is off putting TBH.  Ron Paul, if he wants to go to the top - needs to say he will asap repeal obamacare and asap say he will defund the epa and every one of obamas actions - ONE BY ONE!   If he did that - paul would be top right now by far.

Cain, for better or worse, has a career of executive experience on many levels and is not a political hack.

Huntsmann and cain stand out as the most experienced, qualified, and not-full-of-shit.

Mitt and Perry are both full of shit, let's be honest.  Mitt boasting about job creation from the clinton ecnonomy - he was still 47th in the nation.  perry is so guilty on this HPV shot, as well as being Al Gore's manager - that alone should DQ his ass.

Huntsmann was the US money man to china.  He was governor and was #! in job creation.  And he doesn't PANDER like the rest of them.  Huge difference there.

I just can't overlook the fact that Cain is a Federal Reserve man.  He also wants to continue war in the middle east.  I would like to see a true black man beat the false half-breed that is Obama though.
